RUBBER SHEETING – one of the biggest sealing and heat preservation products supplier in SA. With our breath of understanding and knowledge of rubber materials. We are able to assist with almost any application from initial design to final delivery. Our comprehensive range of quality rubber sheeting in cloth finish or smooth both sides include:

Natural Rubber Sheets, Nitrile Rubber Sheets, Styrene-butadiene Rubber Sheets, Neoprene Rubber Sheets,
EPDM Rubber Sheets, Silicone Rubber Sheets, Fluorine Rubber Sheets, Butyl Rubber Sheets,
Hypalon Rubber Sheets, Speciality Rubber Sheets

and ideal for applications such as chutes, buffers, gaskets, scrapers, manufactured from specialised materials and can be cut to customer specification ranging from 1.5mm to 25mm thick.

   Natural Rubber Sheets
Natural rubber is derived from latex liquid from rubber trees. The rubber has excellent mechanical properties, low compression set and high resilience. It also has excellent dynamic and rebound properties.

  •    Nitrile Rubber Sheets
Nitrile Rubber (B400NBR Rubber) is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile. NBR Sheet has good general resistance to oil along with good mechanical properties especially tensile strength, flexing, compression …
  •    Styrene-butadiene Rubber Sheets
Styrene-butadiene Rubber Sheet (SBR Rubber) is produced by natural rubber sheet blending with styrene butadiene. The rubber has excellent mechanical properties, low compression set and high resilience.
  •    Neoprene Rubber Sheets
CR or Chloroprene rubber ( Neoprene Rubber ) is a homopolymer of chloroprene or chlorobutadiene. It has excellent mechanical and abrasion properties even without reinforcing fillers and has a reasonable resilience in grade over 60o shore A.
  •    EPDM Rubber Sheets
EPDM rubber sheets or ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber sheets can be vulcanized by using conventional method of using sulphur or by dicumyl peroxide (DCP).
  •    Silicone Rubber Sheets
Silicone rubber have comparatively low mechanical properties, tensile strength, elongation and tear strength, however silicone keep constant even at high temperature but should not be used with high pressure steam. Its resistance to oil and hydrocarbon products is fairly limited.
  •    Fluorine Rubber Sheets
Fluorine Rubber Sheets also called Fluoro Elastomer Rubber and FKM Rubber. Dupont called “Viton Rubber Sheets” or Viton. It is based on hexafluoropropylene vinylidene fluoride.
  •    Butyl Rubber Sheets
Butyl Rubber is a copolymer or isobutylene and a small percentage of insoprene and has a very low permeability to air and other gases. Butyl rubber has excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation and sunlight.
  •    Hypalon Rubber Sheets
Hypalon Rubber is very resistant to attack by oxygen and ozone, and properly compounded products show excellent weathering resistance.

GASKTES – widely used in the industrial field and fluid sectors. We offer standard and non-standard gaskets to suit specific customer requirements and constantly improve the technique level. Our gaskets are suitable for most applications and also suitable for pipe flange pump, valve joint etc. gaskets range from rubber, cork, glass cloth, NAF, red fibre, nylon, cemjo sponge etc.

HOSES – suppliers from small to large bore hoses. Designed to be durable, flexible, versatile and wear resistant for mining, quarrying, agriculture, construction, transport and irrigation industries. The range includes, acetylene, oxygen hoses, pulp and slurry, air and water.

ENGINEERING FELT – stockist of white engineering felt, grey saddle felt, display felt, boat trailer felt. Our standard size rolls are 1800mm wide from 1.8mm to 25mm thick.

MOULDINGS & EXTRUSIONS – are manufactured as per customer sample or drawing from a variety of products using materials like:

˚NR ˚EPDM ˚NBR ˚PVC ˚PU ˚SILICONE ˚VITON etc.

We have a variety of applications from glazing seals, door seals, gap filling, bonnet seals, panel sealing, sliding windows and sliding doors, weather exclusion, dust exclusion and can be used with glass, Perspex, acrylic, metal, fibreglass and plastic. LPK Engineering has the ability to design and manufacture mouldings and extrusions to customer requirements.

SPONGE – we offer open and closed cell sponge for a variety of applications. Supplied in sheet form or cut to size, thickness from 3mm to 25mm but can laminate uo to 100mm thick, this includes open cell, closed cell, roof closure etc.
