We specialise in manufacturing and supplier of gaskets and seal. Rubber products, Engineering felt, Extrusion and Moulding, Seals, Gaskets, Mountings and Grommets for the transport, Smelters, HVAC, Refineries, Steel Mills, Boiler and Fan Manufacturers, Cement Plants, Marine, Defence, earthmoving and agricultural sectors
Thermal & Insulation Product range includes – Phenolic paper, Cotton, Glass and Kelvar, Epoxy cotton and glass, Polyester glass, Melamine glass, Silicone glass and many more this can also be machined as per customer specification or drawing to customer specification and requirements.
We offer competitive-based pricing structures in line with current market conditions. Furthermore we deliver a service that reflects our cost effective service, quality of workmanship, safety record and completion within programme allowable constrains. We have grown and cater for the export market in Africa.
Social Responsibility
In the initial phase of the business, we concentrate our efforts on the training of management and overhead staff.
We believe the training and development of our management and overhead staff is imperative in achieving proper structural growth and business development, through these efforts we are able to build our company up on a solid foundation.
Once the company is operating with a reasonable size order book, we will look to our employees with management, supervisory as skills upgrades potential and capabilities, once identified we shall assist them in advancing into their chosen fields, this will also create a skills base to draw from for skills development of new employees.
We reiterate our earlier commitment of 5% of the net profit to the skills development of our personnel.
Health and Safety Policy
The company strive towards the implementation of procedures, which prevent injury or loss and assure the health and safety of our employees.
The attitude and co-operation of each employee shall ensure that the health and safety conditions are achieved and losses minimised.
The staff/management commits us to active participation in the implementation of the accident prevention policy. The policy of LPK Engineering & Projects supplies and services attaches the greatest importance to the conservation of our natural environment, the wellbeing of the community and that of our employees.
All resources utilised in the industry and elsewhere originate within the natural environment and therefore are the responsibility of each individual and groups of individuals to ensure that conservation become a generally implemented practice, in order to ensure these resources remain available to our future generations.
Employment Policy
The company ensure equal opportunities for all sectors of the community, when employing personnel for that of our end users and ourselves. We constantly utilise personnel local to the areas of work, and only when we are unable to source the required skills locally, do we revert to secondment from other areas. It is also our intention to sub-contract our labour supply requirements to local empowerment brokers.
A major emphasis is placed on the training of personnel, both on the job and the attendance of courses.
We also envisage training young previously disadvantaged personnel into senior positions, once key individuals have been developed and empowered with a successful track record, we shall relinquish a portion of the companies’ shares to these individuals.We feel strongly that the way for affirmative action to work has to be through the transfer of skill and knowledge, and not window dressing.
